We are thrilled to confirm the return of Paul Woods as player/coach for the coming season.
Having been part of the Stranraer family since suffering a career-threatening injury almost two years ago, Paul joined up with the squad this summer as he resumes his football career.
It’s testament to Paul’s character and commitment that he has fully recovered from that setback, and will now have a chance to continue his playing career with us at Stair Park.
The winger was in peak form during his last spell at the club, which saw him reach 96 appearances and 14 goals for Stranraer.
‘Woodsy’ is a hugely likeable figure at the football club with a lot of valuable experience to pass on, and we are sure his skills and insight will be hugely valuable both on the park and in the dugout.
