Peter is a legendary figure amongst the lower leagues of Scottish football, especially within the town of Greenock where he appeared over 300 times for Morton, finding the net on over 100 occasions in blue and white.
The North Shields native finished his professional playing days with an impressive 56 goals in 94 games for Annan Athletic.
