We are delighted to announce that former player and captain of the club Scott Agnew is the new permanent manager of Stranraer FC.
Scott has a wealth of experience as an assistant at Airdrieonians, Raith Rovers and most recently East Fife, and has been highly sought after by a number of clubs who have been on the search for a new manager.
“Aggy” is a familiar face for the Stranraer faithful, scoring 36 goals across 137 appearances for the Blues and has a well earned place in our most recent Team of the Decade.
We would like to thank East Fife Football Club for their cooperation and assistance in allowing Stranraer FC to make an expedient appointment.
Scott will take up his post immediately, with his first game in charge coming this Saturday at Stair Park against Elgin City.
