A professional performance saw Stranraer ease beyond Glenafton Athletic and through to the third round of the Scottish Cup.
The Blues avoided the potential of a cup shock thanks to a James Dolan strike and an own goal in the first half before Lewis Hunter and Ryan Edgar netted after the break.
Manager Chris Aitken made one change from the side that had won at Edinburgh City as Sal Turay missed out through injury and Matthew Gillies came into the team.
There was also a place on the bench for Ronan Hughes, who was back involved with the squad after time out injured.
Stranraer started on the front foot as Aaron Quigg had an effort saved before Edgar had the ball in the net but the offside flag was already up.
Home fans did not have long to wait for the opener, though.
A Daniel McManus ball over the top was collected by Edgar, who held it up well before picking out Dolan.
The midfielder took a touch before sending a shot high beyond David Markey.

However, Glenafton would give Stranraer a fright.
Immediately, a long ball was flicked on by Hugh Kerr and former Stranraer man Michael Mullen coolly chipped over Josh Lane.
The offside flag was already up and the goal was ruled out but Glenafton quickly served up another warning.
Veteran Chris Erskine managed to find a pocket of space and sent a fabulous effort beyond Lane, only for the crossbar to come to Stranraer’s rescue.
Any nerves were settled on 33 minutes when Lewis Currie could only nod Finn Ecrepont’s cross over Markey for an own goal.
The next goal was always going to be crucial and Glenafton enjoyed plenty of possession at the start of the second half.
However, they failed to turn that into clear cut chances and Stranraer started to come back into the contest.
Dolan, Kirk McKnight and McManus all had shots blocked in quick succession.

The manager made a triple change as Dominic Plank, Mark Russell and Deryn Lang came on in place of Dolan, Quigg and McKnight.
Plank came within a whisker of getting his first goal for the club when a fine run ended with a shot across goal.
But he would turn provider for the remaining two goals.
Again, he was impressive down the left and his ball into the box was flicked home by another replacement in Hunter.
Then, as the game closed in on stoppage time, Plank’s ball over the top was collected by Edgar.
The frontman’s performance was worthy of a goal and he fired into the net to wrap up a good day.
Now, attention turns to next weekend when Forfar Athletic make the journey south to Stair Park.
