We will be welcoming Cymru Premier side and Europa Conference League entrants Connah’s Quay Nomads to Stair Park for a friendly on Saturday 1 July (3pm kickoff).
The Welsh side visit Wigtownshire for a competitive challenge against the Blues before their European qualifiers commence on 13 July.
The Nomads will be a recognisable name amongst Scottish football fans for famously knocking Kilmarnock out of Europa League contention four years ago, before moving on to face Partizan Belgrade.
Manager Scott Agnew was keen to accept the challenge against a quality side just a few short weeks before our own Viaplay Cup campaign starts.
The club will be using this date as our singular friendly at Stair Park before competitive fixtures begin, and we are delighted to announce that we will be offering all supporters the chance to meet and socialise with the players pre-match, as well as arranging a pre-match Q&A session with Blues boss Scott Agnew.
We are also offering corporate hospitality at a reduced price of £65 per person for the visit of the Nomads, which includes:
- three course meal and drinks at the Stranraer FC Fitba’ Bar from 12:15pm
- transport to the stadium for 2pm
- complimentary bar from 2pm to 3pm
- entry into the game for the big friendly with Connah’s Quay Nomads
- half time buffet with tea and coffee
- further complimentary bar from full time until 6pm
