The Blues battled out a draw with West of Scotland League side Kilwinning in their second pre-season friendly.
Experienced midfielder Carlo Monti evaded the attention of a trialist to slot home the opener for the Buffs, but Stranraer replied as one of the home side’s defenders sent the ball into his own net.
Another trialist and Joe Moore both found the woodwork in the second half but the scores remained level.
