A much-changed Stranraer lineup with seven trialists secured a pre-season win at Irvine Meadow.
The West of Scotland League side went ahead after a quarter of an hour with a header from a corner kick, but Finn Ecrepont equalised with a fine free kick on the half hour mark.
New signing Ronan Hughes headed the Blues in front three minutes later, and Mark Russell capitalised on a second half mistake not long after the restart to make it three.
Aaron Miller’s tidy turn and finish reduced the deficit for the home side once more, but Jordan Stuart replied with a well-taken strike of his own to make it four for Stranraer.
Our pre-season preparations continue with a trip to Hurlford United on Tuesday night, kickoff 7.30pm.
