The club can confirm to our members and supporters that we have reluctantly accepted the resignation of Vice Chairman Robert H Rice from the committee of Stranraer Football Club.
Robert leaves with no ill will, admirably vacating his position for someone whom he feels can give more to the club at this current moment in time.
Everyone at Stranraer FC would like to extend their thanks to Robert for his time and efforts over the years, as he parts ways with the following message:
“I would like to wish all the very best to Scott, Peter, the coaching staff and all the players. Cheers RHR.”
By proxy of the club constitution, in the event of a resignation the next highest unsuccessful candidate at the previous election shall be invited to take their place.
At this time, we are delighted to announce that Steven Hardie will be joining the Stranraer FC committee as its twelfth member.
Taking on the role of Vice Chairman will be current member Ged Molyneux.
All at the club would like to congratulate both Steven and Ged on their new roles, giving their full backing to both as we come out of the international break and into the second quarter of the league campaign, as well as the second round of the Scottish Cup.
