Craig Slater’s free kick and a stoppage time penalty from Bradley Rodden earned 10-man Forfar Athletic a big win in their battle for survival.
Ryan Edgar fired the Blues in front in a flat first half, and with Mackenzie Lemon dismissed before the break, the odds were stacked against the visitors.
With chances at a premium, Slater’s well-taken set piece set up a nervy exchange in the closing stages, with Max Guthrie heading against the crossbar for Stranraer before Rodden’s spot kick settled the contest.
