Stranraer FC are delighted to welcome defender Lewis Gillie and midfielder Zach Bruce to the club on loan from Hibernian as part of our co-operation agreement.
The pair arrive at the LIME Stadium with impressive pedigrees, having both featured alongside fellow Blue Dean Cleland in last season’s UEFA Youth League campaign.
Lewis will also be a familiar face to fellow new signing Archie Traynor, with the pair currently part of Scotland’s Under 19 national team setup.
Gillie and Bruce were key members of Hibernian’s CAS Under 19 league-winning side in 2024/25 and have continued their development by impressing during the club’s first team pre-season programme.
Now making the move to Stair Park, both players will be looking to take the next step in their development by gaining valuable senior experience.
