We can confirm that Grant Gallagher will leave Stranraer this summer.
A captain, leader and legend, Gal will forever hold a special place in the hearts of Blues supporters as he leaves after 11 seasons, 338 appearances and 15 goals.
Included in that tally, an audacious volley against East Kilbride which helped secure our place in the SPFL, and a headed winner against Forfar which changed the course of this season.
Commenting on his departure, Gal said: “I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone at Stranraer FC for the unforgettable time I’ve had at the club.
“We’ve shared some amazing moments together, but more importantly, I’ve had the privilege of meeting some incredible people both on and off the pitch.
“Your support and friendship have meant a lot to me.
“Wishing the club nothing but success in the future – here’s to the next challenge in football.”
