We are delighted to welcome Sam Ellis to the club on a permanent basis.
Sam impressed on loan from St Mirren last term, making 20 appearances in total and scoring his first senior goal during the last game of the season.
Ellis said: “I cannot wait.
“I loved every minute last year and just speaking to the gaffer made me want to come back.
“The way things ended last year, I left being dead happy and it felt right to come back.
“I kept in touch with the gaffer and he was the first person I spoke to when I did leave St Mirren.
“It looked as if it would happen and I was pretty keen to come back again.
“Everybody at the club is brilliant and I get on great with the boys.
“My full family enjoyed going and watching the games.”
Still just 19, the promising young full back becomes the 12th player to put pen to paper this summer.
In further squad news, fellow defender Sean Burns has opted to move on due to work commitments and leaves with our very best wishes for the future.
