Committee member Davie McMillan wished to pass on the following message following Saturday’s home win over East Kilbride.
“I would like to thank all the supporters who turned out yesterday, young and old, to support our team, Stranraer Football Club in the first competitive match at Stair Park this season.
“We greatly appreciate their forbearance in jumping through hoops in order to come to the match, but we believe that we had in place a number of mitigating procedures which we hope would stop the spread of this awful virus.
“Most of all I would like to thank all of the volunteers who turned out on Saturday to support the safe passage of all, without the volunteers we would not have been able to allow fans to spectate in a safe environment.
“It is hoped that our next home game against Annan Athletic will not have as many hurdles in place.
“Thank you all for your support and patience.”
