Jonny Ngandu
Loam signing from Hamilton Academical had actually featured against Stranraer when the two sides met in the cup at the beginning of the season.
Made move to Stranraer in time for lengthy trip to Elgin and marked it by providing the assist for Scott Robertson in the game’s only goal. Started the next three games and then scored his only goal for the club with a vital strike against Albion Rovers.
Featured against Annan Athletic, Bonnyrigg Rose and Forfar Athletic but could not find the net again as the Blues struggled for goals. Final appearance in a Stranraer shirt came in the 8-0 defeat to East Fife and never got to show Scott Agnew what he could do.
Has departed Hamilton after being released at the end of the season.

Darryl Duffy
Involved in fruitless search over the summer for a striker.
Lack of a signing meant player/assistant manager Duffy remained an option for Jamie Hamill.
Came on in the final 15 minutes against Queen’s Park, FC Edinburgh, East Fife and Stenhousemuir before joining Craig Malcolm in attack against Stirling Albion. Scored against his former side in a game where Stranraer trailed 4-1 at the break.
Continued to provide experienced option up front and made his last start for the Blues against Bonnyrigg Rose, with the Midlothian men scoring the only goal of the game at Stair Park in stoppage time. Reached 50 appearances in 2-0 home defeat to Dumbarton with final appearance coming in a 1-0 defeat at New Dundas Park at the beginning of April.
Left the club alongside Hamill following the defeat to East Fife.

Craig Malcolm
Return for a third spell took just about everyone – including Malcolm – by surprise.
The second top goalscorer in the club’s history immediately added a spark as Stranraer won 1-0 against Annan Athletic. Forced Bob Wilson into an own goal when Bonnyrigg Rose made first-ever trip to Stair Park but did not have long to wait for goal number 105 as he netted in 2-2 draw with Elgin City.
Flicked the ball on for Sean McIntosh to score his first goal for the club against Stirling Albion and was again involved as Grant Gallagher found the net. Final goal for the club – in his third spell at least – came in defeat to Forfar Athletic.
Provided an experienced head for new manager Scott Agnew in brief spell at the end of the campaign, and will be linking up with Anton Brady at St Cadoc’s after joining as player/coach.

Salim Kouider-Aissa
Loan signing from Airdrieonians made an immediate impression after stepping off the bench on his debut against Albion Rovers.
Slid home Matty Grant’s cross to put the Blues in front and on course for three points. Form never really built on that and he made nine more appearances, with five of those coming from the bench. Header against Annan helped Dean Hawkshaw to score vital equaliser but loan spell was not extended until the end of the season.
Final appearance came at New Dundas Park where he played just the final few minutes after replacing Craig Malcolm.

Aaron Brown
Memorable start at Bayview Stadium saw loan signing Brown win a penalty after less than quarter of an hour.
Josh Walker scored from 12 yards and the Kilmarnock youngster then capped a memorable day with a first senior goal as he steered a volley beyond Allan Fleming.
Showed glimpses of what he was capable of, including in 2-0 win over East Fife at Stair Park. Was unselfish on the day in squaring the ball for Hilton to mark his 100th appearance for the club.
Was the unlucky man to be substituted at Cliftonhill when the Blues were reduced to 10 men just before half time as Craig Ross was sent off. Final two appearances came off the bench as he replaced Matty Grant against Forfar and Dylan Forrest against East Fife.
Has extended his stay at Rugby Park.

Harry Mitchell
Regular member – and goalscorer – in the South of Scotland Football League squad was given a chance in the final two games of the campaign.
Following in the footsteps of the Mitchell family had already been achieved back in August 2019, when he stepped off the bench to replace Ian Smith against Rangers Under 20s in the League Challenge Cup.
More than three years later, he replaced James Hilton for his league debut against Stenhousemuir. Rounded off the season with the final eight minutes against Dumbarton when he came on for the departing Anton Brady.
Mitchell has since moved on to Creetown under former Ayr United midfielder Jamie Adams.
