Scorers: Stranraer – Russell (Pen 53); East Kilbride – Robertson (58 and 68) and Elliott (59)
Three goals in the space of 10 minutes helped East Kilbride turn the game on its head at Stair Park.
Mark Russell had put the hosts in front from the penalty spot before John Robertson levelled straight from a corner.
Former Stranraer man Cameron Elliott quickly put the visitors in front and Robertson scored an impressive third to wrap up the win.
It was an entertaining contest played at a fast pace for much of the 90 minutes.
East Kilbride passed up a number of good chances before the break.
First, Josh Lane pulled off an impressive save to keep out Joao Balde’s deflected effort from outside the box before the East Kilbride midfielder saw another shot go just over the bar.
When East Kilbride did have the beating of the number one, it was the frame of the goal keeping them out.
Jordon McGregor rose highest to put a header on goal but it came back off the crossbar.

It was not one-way traffic though as Lewis Reid continues to search for his first goal in a Stranraer shirt.
He strode forward from his own half and blasted just inches too high with goalkeeper Freddie Owens well beaten.
Elliott was then denied by the foot of Lane before Stranraer came within a whisker of breaking the deadlock just before half time.
Deryn Lang, who scored twice in midweek, did well down the left and fired a cross into the box.
Aaron Quigg was sprinting to get there but could not quite get enough on his header as the ball came across the box.
The second half was only eight minutes old when Stranraer were given the chance to open the scoring.
Balde caught James Dolan in the box and Russell kept his cool to send the goalkeeper the wrong way from the penalty spot.

Unfortunately, the lead would last just five minutes.
Robertson’s corner from the right caught out everyone and flew straight into the net.
Then, Elliott took advantage of a defensive mix-up to turn the game on its head.
Stranraer did have a chance to pull themselves level though.
Lang found himself clean through on goal but Owens stood tall to break the block.
Then, East Kilbride wrapped up the win in some style.
Robertson collected the ball near the halfway line and surged beyond Kirk McKnight.

The goalscorer cut into the box and then drilled the ball in off the post.
Stranraer pushed to find a way back into the contest but East Kilbride held firm to pick up three points.
An entertaining encounter but one that Stranraer, ultimately, left empty-handed.
