Stranraer meet Tayport for the very first time ever this afternoon, as we enter the Scottish Gas Scottish Cup second round.
The Midlands Premier League outfit have won their last seven games in all competitions, including a 3-0 victory over Wick Academy in the first round.
Having topped William Hill League Two for several weeks, Chris Aitken will be looking to bring the Blues’ league form into the cup.
Kickoff is 3pm.
Weather
Following a check this morning, the pitch is in excellent condition with no standing water, and today’s match is scheduled to go ahead as planned.
With a yellow weather warning currently in place and heavy rainfall forecast around midday, conditions will continue to be monitored and the match officials will assess the playing surface on their arrival.
We appreciate the uncertainty this creates and will provide any further updates through our official channels.
