Craig Ross’ impressive performances for Stranraer have been rewarded with a full-time contract at Championship side Airdrieonians.
It goes without saying that Craig has been an outstanding servant for this football club since arriving as a fresh-faced teenager in 2021.
The Kilmarnock youth product had been on loan with Kilwinning Rangers before making the move to Stair Park, and put pen to paper following a successful trial spell.
A first team regular from day one, Craig recorded 155 appearances across four seasons with the Blues, and contributed at the top end of the park with 13 goals.
Most importantly, the centre back rose highest in both legs of our playoff against East Kilbride to head us into the lead, helping to secure our league status.
Signing off with an array of Player of the Year awards and a place in the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) League Two Team of the Season, the sky is the limit for Craig, who leaves with our very best wishes for his future career.
