Substitutes Ryan Edgar and Deryn Lang spared the Blues’ blushes after an impressive performance from West of Scotland League side Threave Rovers in the Scottish Cup.
Threave took the lead just before half time through Dylan Cairnie, with former Stranraer forward Ross Irving doubling their advantage not long after the restart.
Edgar converted Lang’s cross to pull one back, before Deryn fired home a screamer from distance to level the scoring with 12 minutes left to play.
Rovers’ Charlie Watson saw red for violent conduct, and Edgar grabbed the winner in the sixth minute of stoppage time to ensure the Blues’ safe passage into the third round.
