We are delighted to announce that we will be holding a testimonial year for two servants of the club – captain Grant Gallagher and player/coach Scott Robertson.
Gal, who has appeared for the club 298 times over two spells, joined the club from Celtic in 2010 under manager Keith Knox. He made his debut in the same season against East Stirlingshire in the Challenge Cup.
Grant has since gone on to captain the club under various managers.
Grant said: “It’s a huge honour for me to be granted a testimonial by the club and I’m very grateful.
“I am particularly thrilled to be sharing this milestone with Robbo as we have endured some brilliant occasions together over the course of our time with Stranraer.”
Robbo, who signed for manager Stephen Aitken in the summer of 2013 from Arbroath, has amassed 356 appearances for the club also over two spells made his debut against Dumbarton in the League Cup.
Since then, he has played in a variety of positions and helped the club to reach the promotion playoffs on four occasions.
Scott said: “I am absolutely delighted and privileged to have been granted a testimonial match at Stranraer FC.
“From player, to club captain, to coaching staff I have thoroughly enjoyed every step of the journey over my 10 years with the club.
“Lastly, it couldn’t be more fitting to share this landmark with my good friend Gal. With over 650 appearances between us we have shared some great times.
“A top player and a top guy!”
Dates for the events will be revealed in due course.
