Six more former team-mates of Grant Gallagher and Scott Robertson have been confirmed for their upcoming testimonial.
Frank McKeown, Craig Malcolm, Sean Winter, Mark Docherty, Barry Russell and David McKenna will once again be pulling on the blue of Stranraer on Sunday 20 October (2pm kickoff).
Centre half McKeown made 192 appearances for the Blues over two spells between 2011 and 2017. Along the way, the 38 year old scored 18 goals – matching the tally scored by Robertson. ‘Franko’ would also go on to become part of the backroom staff before following Stevie Farrell to Dumbarton.
His former Arthurlie team-mates Malcolm and Winter will also be well-known faces to the Stranraer faithful.
Malcolm made 279 appearances over three spells at the club, but more impressively, he is one of only three players to have scored more than 100 goals for the club. The frontman is now playing alongside his son Aiden at Cumbernauld Colts.
Sean Winter was a key part of the Stranraer midfield under Stevie Aitken as the club battled it out at the top of League One. The winger made more than 200 appearances for the club and netted 38 times for the Blues.
Also back in the Eco Gen Stadium at Stair Park will be Barry Russell. The full-back enjoyed 12 months at the club in 2014/15 after joining from Albion Rovers and made 20 appearances.
Striker David McKenna was part of the home dressing room 12 months earlier and helped the club to reach the play-offs. He was also never on the losing side when he scored in a Stranraer shirt.
Finally, his former team-mate Mark Docherty will also be back in Wigtownshire. The full-back also enjoyed a single season with the Blues and found the net in a 4-1 triumph over Clyde in the Scottish Cup.
They will line up alongside current Blues boss Scott Agnew and player/coach Paul Woods – as well as:
