Joining us in summer 2015, Max made his competitive first team debut at Stenhousemuir in December of that year, before taking all the plaudits with a man of the match performance in a Scottish Cup tie against Celtic in January 2016.

The young goalkeeper deputised for Cameron Belford in the Betfred Cup at the start of the 2016/17 season, and added to this with a handful of cup appearances in 2017.

Had a short spell on loan at Cumbernauld Colts in December 2017 before being recalled after the departure of Belford.

Staked his claim number one jersey with a string of impressive performances in 2018 and 2019 and looks to have a bright future in the game.

Jordan Allan started his career as a forward before evolving over the years into a left-sided player, playing most of his football at full back.

Although still only 24, the defender has a considerable amount of first team experience on both sides of the North Channel.

Starting out in the youth ranks at Dundee United, he made his first senior appearances for Albion Rovers, before spells at Greenock Morton and Montrose.

He then spent a year and a half across the water, turning out for League of Ireland Premier Division club Derry City and NIFL Premiership side Coleraine.

The defender has been a first team regular at League 2 level with Elgin City and Stirling Albion since returning to Scotland in 2017, and will now look to help shore up Stranraer's defence in League 1.

Adam joined us in summer 2018 from Queen's Park, having scored an impressive 10 goals in 2017/18 on the way to being crowned their supporters' Player of the Year.

The Liverpool native spent his early career at Goodison Park, before moving north to make 33 top-flight appearances for the Steelmen.

The defender gained further first team experience on loan at Dundee, Ayr United and Stirling Albion, and spent a year in Wales with Bangor City after leaving Fir Park on a permanent basis in 2015.

Adam made 31 appearances for the Blues in 2018/19 before signing on again for a second season.

Connor McManus arrived at Stair Park in summer 2018 after six month spells at Greenock Morton and East Fife, having departed Celtic in 2017.

The midfielder spent twelve years in the Hoops' academy, gaining first team experience with spells on loan to Alloa Athletic and Queen of the South.

McManus has been a key figure since joining Stranraer, missing just two games through injury.

In addition to pulling the strings and picking passes in the Blues’ midfield, he has performed admirably in defence and is more than capable of pulling double duty when required.

Local lad James Hilton joined us in June 2019 following a number of years at Ayr United, including loan spells at junior sides Girvan, Cumnock and Hurlford United.

"Jinky" was part of our youth setup before making the move to Somerset Park, where he made his senior debut.

A tricky forward, Hilton scored 9 goals in 24 appearances at Hurlford last term, and will now look to gain further first team experience at Stair Park.

A veteran with over 200 Stranraer appearances to his name, Grant Gallagher is in his second spell at the club having returned in summer 2019.

Gal joined us in 2010 and spent 5 seasons with the Blues, narrowly missing out on promotion before leaving for Dumbarton in 2015.

The defender turned midfielder scored his only goal of last season against us for Airdrieonians in November 2018 at Stair Park, but will be back in the blue jersey again this season.

A product of the Chelsea youth system, Stevenson joined St Johnstone on a free transfer in 2002, making 74 appearances.

Following his release from the McDiarmid Park club, the former Kyle Academy pupil scored 28 goals in 99 appearances for Ayr United, including one which saw the Somerset Park side promoted to the First Division.

Stevo's goalscoring exploits earned him a return to the Premiership with Heart of Midlothian, where important goals against both Old Firm clubs and city rivals Hibernian endeared Stevenson to Hearts supporters and earned him a callup to the Scotland squad.

Ryan returned to England with Championship side Ipswich Town in January 2012, but resumed his Hearts career at the end of that season. Spells with Partick Thistle, Ayr United, Dumbarton and Raith Rovers followed, including a famous appearance in goal for the Kirkcaldy side.

In recent seasons the frontman reignited his love for the game with a prolific scoring spree at Ayrshire junior side Troon FC, before signing for Stranraer in January 2019.

Centre forward Denny Johnstone joined us in January 2019 on loan from Falkirk.

Born into a footballing family, the Dumfries man spent his youth career at hometown club Queen of the South before signing terms with Celtic.

A Scotland youth international at four age levels, the striker joined English Championship side Birmingham City before going out on loan to gain first team experience, including a successful breakthrough season at Greenock Morton which delivered 14 goals in 35 games.

Injury disrupted his time at Colchester United, but a loan move to St Johnstone in 2017/18 saw Johnstone record 20 top flight appearances and find the net in a 3-1 win over Rangers at Ibrox.

Joao Victoria arrived for a second stay at Stair Park towards the end of the January 2020 transfer window, having spent the second half of the 2018/19 season at Stranraer on loan from Airdrie.

Joao scored 4 goals in his first spell with the Blues, including one on his debut against East Fife on 26 January 2019, before moving to Raith Rovers in the summer of 2019.

After 12 appearances for the Kirkcaldy side, he will look to pick up where he left off for Stranraer.

Carlo Pignatiello joined us from Livingston in summer 2019.

Carlo - who can play through the middle or out wide - was with Rangers as a youngster, before joining Livingston's youth setup after a year at St Mirren. 

Last season, he was part of the Livi U20s side which knocked Forfar out of the IRN-BRU Cup, before spending the rest of the campaign at BSC Glasgow.

The attacking midfielder scored 3 goals during his loan spell - one of which helped the club eliminate Cumbernauld Colts from the Scottish Cup - and was voted the Lowland League challengers' Young Player of the Year.

Cameron Elliott is a talented forward who made his Blues debut against Dumbarton on 6 October 2017, replacing Paul Woods as a late substitute.
