GOALS late in either half saw Queen's Park pick up maximum points and see Stranraer's winless run stretch to three.
Brian Reid made three changes as he attempted to freshen up his side, with Willie Gibson suspended and Giuliano Morena and Christian Nadé dropping to the bench.
In came Frank McKeown, Scott Agnew and Ryan Thomson but it was a game that the hosts took a while to get into.
However, they were presented with a good chance when Thomson beat goalkeeper William Muir to the ball.
The recalled midfielder turned and rolled it back into the path of Craig Malcolm but the striker took just too long and his shot was blocked and spun wide of the goal.
The opener would instead come just before the break, with the Blues caught out with a long ball.
Dario Zanatta, on loan from Hearts, shrugged off the attention of Scott Robertson and kept his cool to curl round Cameron Belford and notch up his first goal for the club.
The young Canadian could have doubled his tally in the second half after Luke Watt's mistake but his lob was plucked out of the air by Belford.
Malcolm missed a near identical chance moments later before Anton Brady grabbed his first goal for the club to seal all three points.
Belford slipped trying to thump the ball up the park and Brady collected the ball near the centre circle before drilling it home with the goalkeeper out of position.
