Angus Beith 1

Position: Midfielder
Date of birth: 22/2/1996
Place of birth: Edinburgh
Previous clubs: Hearts, Stenhousemuir, Stirling Albion

Scotland youth international Angus - nicknamed "Goose" - joined Stranraer at the start of December 2017 on an emergency loan deal from Hearts, which was then extended until the end of the season.

The left-footed midfielder made 2 first team appearances for the Jambos against Celtic last season, having previously enjoyed loan spells with Stirling Albion and Stenhousemuir.

Ever since netting on his debut against Arbroath on 2 December 2017, Beith has been in prolific scoring form for the Blues. His goal against Airdrie was one of five in January for the youngster, and marked the 10,000th goal in the history of the SPFL.

It came as no surprise, then, when SPFL crowned him their League 1 Player of the Month.
