Comment: Michael Donald is no stranger to Stranraer, having played his part in Ayr United's promotion playoff victory at the Blues' expense in May 2016. After a four-year spell at Somerset Park, the Ayrshireman found his first team opportunities limited in the Championship and requested his release in order to become Stevie Farrell's first signing in January 2017. Eagle-eyed supporters may also recognise Michael as one of the scorers in Ayr's 5-0 win over the Blues back in 2014, but the 28 year old's focus is now firmly on securing survival for Stranraer.
