East Fife 4 Stranraer 0
Stranraer travelled to New Bayview to play East Fife yesterday in what was the third match between the sides this season. Once again the Blues lost an early goal when a high hanging cross was met by the giant Chris Templeman. His downward header squirmed agonisingly over the line via Duncan Crossthwaite who was brought in for Scott Black who has gone to Auchinleck Talbot. Stranraer fought back and held out to half-time. Unfortunately East Fife had the strong wind behind them in the 2nd half and with the terratorial advantage they went on to score three more goals through Lee Makel and a Bobby Linn double. Stranraer's best chance was a powerful shot in the 2nd half that got blocked well by Stranraer born keeper Michael Brown. There was also strong claims for a pen in the 2nd half when Stuart McColm got fl oored in the box.
