Stranraer FC 2010/11 Show Racism the Red Card

MANAGER

Keith Knox - A Stranraer legend that played over 300 games for the club and captained them to the Second division title in 1997/98. Keith is also remembered fondly by Clyde fans who he served loyally for 10 years and also had brief spells as a player with Alloa, Stenhousemuir and Gretna.
As a Stranraer man and resident it was no surprise that he should cut his teeth as a manager with local South of Scotland league side, Wigtown. It wasn’t long before he was drafted in to the Stair Park regime to head the newly formed youth system under the overall management of Gerry Britton. When Gerry moved on, Keith took over as assistant to Derek Ferguson before getting the call to take over in the Stair Park hot seat when it became vacant in January 2009.

 ASSISTANT MANAGER

Stephen Aitken - Ginge has played over 200 times for the club but will be looking to direct play more from the dugout than the pitch this season but showed towards the end of last season that he is still more than capable of pulling on the playing boots if required.

PHYSIO

Walter Cannon - Wattie is affectionately known as 'the vet' at the club, he joined Stranraer in the Watt/Miller era having previously been at Partick Thistle. Walter is a much respected figure inside and outside of Stair Park and is credited as being an important part of the clubs success in the mid 00's working miracles with getting players back into action.
